How We Use Information

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mails we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. We do not publish email addresses.

Email addresses obtained through “subscribe” links or registrations for church newsletters may be shared with third parties (e.g., transactional email vendors) to aid in the delivery of such newsletters. Submission through such forms implies your consent for such uses. Opting out of electronic church newsletters and communications can be done by using the unsubscribe link in the footer of these communications or by emailing support@hhupc.org.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Website Usage Data

We track basic website usage to help us improve our website’s functionality and design. The information collected for website metrics is not personally identifiable information and is not linked to any user or member profile. Occasionally we may use polls or surveys. The information collected by polls or surveys is on a voluntary basis and used only for stated purposes.

Our Commitment to Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. The collection of credit/debit card or bank account information is processed over industry-standard SSL encryption with our PCI-complaint processing partners. This information is not stored on our servers.

Our Commitment to the Privacy of Children

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information on our website from those we know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
